Growing Up In Foster Care

I grew up in the foster care system,
All my life in and out of foster care …

When I was 13, I left my mom for good …
It was a very hard adjustment.
I ran away a lot …

But thanks to a foster mom from PATH,
I grew up into a young 22-year-old woman,
Who is trying to make a life for herself in the real world.

I love you Pat and Barb for loving me…
When I hated everyone.
